You trust MapWorks to manage your mappings and metadata. We realize how important those are to you and to your business, and we’ll always treat them with the care and sensitivity that they deserve. While we do have access to individual MapWorks sites, we will only access them as part of a support request or to troubleshoot. And we log access to all sites – including when we access a site, so you can always see who was working on your site.
When you sign up for MapWorks, you give us your name, organization name, email address, and other contact information. Your email address is your login ID and the other personal information is so we can stay in contact with you or send invoices or updates. We’ll never sell your personal information. Period. And we won’t use your name or organization’s statements without asking.
If you contact us for support or help, we’ll store that in our ticketing system to make sure we address all of your concerns. The only time we would share your personal information is to investigate or prevent suspected fraud, illegal activities, violation of our Terms and Conditions, or as required by law.
Without a court order, MapWorks will not turnover any personal information or site data to law enforcement. We will comply with a court order and, unless legally prevented from it, we will inform you when requests are made.
